Is there a way not to purge messages?
In the PGAdmin, under database settings, there is Purge After (days) and I can't set it to zero. We want to keep the messages for at least a few years but can't find a setting for that.

No, there isn't a way to get PageGate to flatly not purge old data. That value can currently be set to a maximum of 365 days, indicating that the program will keep ahold of the data for a full year before removing any previous data. |

Is there a way to prevent it from deleting all the messages including in the log files?
Yesterday when I sent messages to the group (custom app with direct insert record to MS Access link to SQL) and put 2010 in the station, it shows "...PGSched Message Rejected. Recipient <group name> from: <sender>" in the log file.
I called tech support and was told that station number should be set to zero (for direct insert)... I restart the services and it deleted all the messages. I could not find the problem messages in the log file either.

If you go into the PageGate Admin and you go to Logging - Settings, do you have Archive Logs enabled? If so, when you rebooted, the logs weren't deleted, they were moved to a sub-directory of the logging folder on your hard drive that has the day's date and a fresh set of logs were created. |
