We are using Pagegate Version 5. For the past two days Gatmail stops working. In Sevices it shows Getmail as started, but in Pagegate Monitor it shows as stopped. We must restart Pagegate in Services to get getmail to work. Help!

The PageGate MailServer Service is probably not running when you're seeing that. There are a few questions I have. First, what operating system are you using?

Second, if you go into the properties of the c:\program files\pagegate\pagegate.exe file, then go under the Version tab, what file version of the program are you using?

Have you added the pgmailserver.exe and pggmail.exe files to the DEP exceptions list?

If it is for GetMail in Services, No.

Here's what you'll need to do:

1) Go into the Control Panel in Windows.

2) Go into the System icon.

3) Go under the Advanced Tab.

4) Click on the Settings next to Performance.

5) Go under the Data Execution Prevention tab.

6) Move the dot down to "Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select."

7) Left click on Add.

8) Add c:\program files\pagegate\pggmail.exe

9) Add c:\program files\pagegate\pgmailserver.exe

10) Reboot the computer since changes to the DEP list are not picked up dynamically.
