|
|
Recently our PageGate Server (ver 4) started throwing errors on the PGMailserver.exe. Our Windows admin group looked at the issue are unable to determine a cause much less a solution. PageGate is running on Windows server 2003. The text is of the error is below:
"Faulting application PGMailServer.exe version 4.0.5.0, faulting module unknown version 0.0.0.0 fault address 0x00000000." This is showing up in the application event log.
Any assistance you could provide would be great.
Thank you

First step would be to upgrade to version 5. The upgrade from v4 to v5 is only $100.00 and contains numerous improvements_________________ Aaron D. Osgood

Ozcom took the words out of my mouth. You really do need to upgrade to version 5 if you're using a Server 2003 system, we've updating more things than I can count for v5's compatibility with Server 2003. |

I have already started the wheels turning to purchase the upgrade. In the meantime is there anything you could suggest that I check?

The trouble has to do with Windows updates that modify some things we use in combination with the way our PGMailserver.exe actually interacted with Windows.
If you think it will take less than 30 days for you to get the wheels turned for v5, what you can do is go ahead and upgrade and then I can give you an Evaluation Key which will unlock the program for 30 days? |

After weeks of discussion I received approval to purchase the upgrade to version 5 and the order will be placed today. I would like to take advantage of your offer to provide an evaluation key until I get the code from our purchase. Although I may have the purchased key before I do the upgrade I would like to be prepared just in case.

If you would, please send an email to support at notepage dot com with a request for the eval key and we'll send one off to you. |
