Improved message send times

I currently have several large distribution groups which have been created sending to over 100 recipients. When these messages are sent there is an extreme delay in PageGate's ability to process all these email notifications.

What if anything, can be done to improve the amount of time PageGate takes to process a send message request?

How many connectors are you licensed for and using?

In addition to adding connector licenses (PageGate can drive up to 16 simultaneous connections - the base package includes 1 connector - additonal connector's are available at $100 USD each), you mentioned that all your notifications are going out Email (SMTP). You MAY want to take a moment to consider the wireless carrier for each recipient - many of them support SNPP or WCTP, which are much faster than Email (as well as significtlymore reliable)

We have one connector license at this time, but are you suggesting I utilize multiple connectors at once to send this kind of Traffic load?

Absolutely. If you're sending that many messages, you'll definitely want more than one connector so the program can deliver them faster. Each connector presents PageGate with another pathway for delivering messages. So, with two connectors, you're delivering 2 messages simultaneously. 3 connectors provides 3 pathways and so forth.
