We are setting up Notepage Pro for the first time, I have already called my internet provider and they informed port 25 is open, and my Primary and Secondary DNS has been verified, however i can only get as far as the connection wizard..when it runs the SMTP test it fails..and then the SNPP and WCTP only show up as testing and neither passes or fails. We are a small Answering Service business that would like to be able to set this up in order to page our clients such as Doctors and Service Technicians, Please let me know what I am doign wrong and how to get this program up and running...we are not using the trial version, we've already purchased and registered our product, I am using windows vista and also when I tried to use the command prompt and do what you mentioned in other forum posts and it wont recognize the telnet as a valid command

If you would, before we get into the configuration, please run this test:

1) In Windows, go to Start - Run.

2) In the Run line, type the following and click OK: command

3) In the command prompt, type the following and hit enter:

telnet smtp-bb.vtext.com 25

Let me know what the response is when you do that.

You MY need to use a relay server. It appears that the message is being blocked by Suddenlink.
