PageGate cannot reach the intended carrier and fails after the retry limit is reached (the retry limit defalts to 3 retries, 30 seconds apart when installed but can be changed). From looking at your log snippet - it appears that there MAY be a TAP issue with the RECEIVING terminal_________________ Aaron D. Osgood

Just to clarify a bit on what OzCom said, from the log you posted, it looks like you're using a direct serial connection to a TAP terminal. What's happening is that we're sending the <CR> to the terminal to initiate a messaging sequence but your'e not getting anything in response.
So, is the serial cable plugged in firmly and is the terminal active? |

I highly appreciated a response on my problem thanks a lot. We have just found out that our carrier is working and system are working normally but the Zetron 2700 have a capabilities that can start and stop what so ever is connected to it.
Thanks,
