I get the following message when I try to start Notepager Pro to make changes to it.

other copy of Notepager Pro is already runnning. Quitting.

Once I was able to go into the task list and end the process, but now I see it just restart the process again and the message comes right back.

Basically, I cannot use the program right now?

What is the deal?

This is really quite strange. If you bring up the Task Manager, you should see NPP and NPPDIAL in the Applications list. End the Task on both items.

After you do that, try to run the program as per normal and see if it comes back up. I can't explain this behavior.

I have seen this behavior on shared machines - one user logs in and runs the package, then another user logs in and tries to run it again
