Hello, at midnight last night our getweb server started automatically restarting with this error:
12/31/2009 12:00:23 AM Module Started
12/31/2009 12:00:25 AM Time synchronized with scheduler
12/31/2009 12:00:34 AM Program Halted. Database error: 3072 Expression too complex in Procedure: check_for_messages
it just continues to roll over and over. can someone please point me in the right direction to resolve this?
Thanks!

Usually this happens when a malformed file is in the GetWeb processing folder. So, if you would, stop the PageGate GetWeb module (go into the Admin, go under Interfaces, right click on GetWeb, left click on Stop).
After you stop GetWeb, browse into the CGI Data directory (specified under Interfaces - GetWeb - Settings). Once there, look for any .new files and delete them.
Restart the GetWeb module and see if that fixes it. |

Hmm... try updating your version of PageGate to the latest build. I think this issue is related to a bug that has already been resolved. Here's what you'll want to do:
1) Make a backup of the pagegate.mdb file (typically located in c:\pagegatedata\database\). This is the single most important thing you can do before you update.
2) Stop PageGate. Make sure that none of the services or programs are running. Make ABSOLUTELY SURE that nothing in regards to PageGate is running.
3) Browse into the PageGate program directory (typically c:\program files\pagegate)
4) Move or delete ALL of the .exe files from this directory.
5) Download the latest installation file for PageGate from our website: http://www.notepage.net (click on the download option under the PageGate section in the center of the page)
6) Run the pgsetup.exe file you downloaded in step 5.
7) The ONLY option you want to run is the "Install PageGate Server" option.
8) Unless you need to change the installation directory, you can click on Next until the installation finishes.
9) Reboot the system. |

Ah, I definitely should have checked first. You should be running PageGate version 5. If you're currently running PGv4, you'll definitely want to upgrade to v5, which our Sales Department can send you a quote for, if you want. |

Upgrade PageGate version 4 to version 5 for $100.00 at http://www.notepage.net/upgrade-order-forms.htm
Confirm the version in the PageGate Admin module's Registration screen (upper right side). The 4-6 digit Serial Number is also needed for upgrading.
Download a free trial of PageGate v5 software (2 recipients enabled and restart every 3-5 days), upgrade instructions, and new features at http://www.notepage.net/pagegate-v5.htm
The upgraded v5 Registration Key is needed to fully register PageGate v5 software.

Is there anyway to get the registration number? This system has been down now for over 12 hours and my ER is screaming. I really need to get this resolved. Is there a phone number I can call?
