Please help me, I've just installed NetPager32, but I could not find the number of my carrier provider in your list. How to find out that number?
I'm from The Netherlands and my internet provider is Telfort.
If you need more information please let me know.

Best regards

Rafael

Rafael,

Unfortunately, I don't know that carriers in the Netherlands support the TAP protocol. The best thing to do would be to contact your carrier, speak with their level 2 or 3 tech support, and ask them if they have any TAP terminals you can dial in to.

You may want to try NotePager Pro software, which has more features, and supports an internet connection (protocols: SNPP, SMTP, WCTP) or a modem (protocols: TAP, GSM-AT, UCP, TONE).

Download a free trial of NotePager Pro software at http://www.notepage.net/software.htm

Due to some of the features of the UAC in Vista, it requires a special set of steps, otherwise you get the error #6 message.

The first thing you'll need to do is uninstall the existing installation of NotePager Pro. Once you have it uninstalled, this should get it up and running:

1) Download the latest installation file for NotePager Pro:

http://www.notepage.net/download/notepagerpro.exe

2) When asked if you want to run or save it, you want to Save it to the Desktop.

3) After the installation file has downloaded, minimize and/or close everything until you can see the desktop.

4) Right click on the notepagerpro.exe file you downloaded.

5) Select the "Run as Administrator" option.

6) Click on the Install NotePager Pro option.

7) Click on Next on the first step.

8) Click on Next on the second step.

9) Click on Browse on the third step.

10) In the upper left hand corner, change c:\program files\notepager pro\ to c:\notepager pro\

11) Click on OK.

12) Click on Next.

13) Click on Next until the installation finishes.

14) Click on Finish.

Now that we have the program installed, before you run the program for the first time, do this:

15) Right click on the Shortcut to NotePager Pro.

16) Left click on the Run as Administrator option.

That should do it but if you have any problems, let me know.
