remain sms in pending mode (notepager pro)

Dear Sir,
We have a version of notepager pro software that is used for alarm notification in solarwinds monitoring system and has been installed on a Microsoft 2003 server (notepager and solarwinds are on same server).
When solarwinds create some sms alarm in each time, these alarms remain in pending mode in notepager and don't send as real-time. When I login to server in next time and open notepager , those pending sms, send one by one.
Why does happen this problem? Why notepager after receiving sms alarm from solarwinds, doesn't send sms real-time?
It is necessary to mention that I didn't use any password to open or run notepager.

Your help is highly appreciated.

Notepager Pro must open and running in order to process messages.

To clarify Aaron's post, NotePager Pro only runs as an application. Applications can't run if no one's logged in to Windows.

If you're interested in a program that can run as a Windows Service, which is not logon dependant, have a look at PageGate. It's our server based program.

With SolarWinds, you can test PageGate software with the Commandline/ASCII Interface by downloading a free trial at http://www.notepage.net/software.htm

Also, if you use PageGate with SolarWinds, you can utilize PageGate's NotePager Pro Alerts feature. Alerts sent from the PageGate Monitor module to a NotePager Pro software recipient's mobile device enable an administrator to quickly respond to errors or failed messages within PageGate software. Refer to 'File' - 'Settings' - 'NotePager Pro Alerts' in the PageGate Monitor module, or manual at http://www.notepage.net/manualchoice.htm
