EDIT!
My apologies... I need to get my products straight.

We have PageGate v5 and it does not seem to process the getascii files when running as a Windows service and no user is logged in. I would like this process to run without anyone actually logged into the server. Is this possible? Is there a way around this?

Thank You!

PageGate software runs as a Windows service, and you can be logged off the machine that is hosting the software.

NotePager Pro does not have to be running, but you must be logged onto the machine that is hosting the software.

Download a free trial of PageGate software at http://www.notepage.net/software.htm

Is your Polling folder a local folder or is it a network folder?

It is a mapped share.

I think I just answered my own question...

If I have a local folder that is being shared for clients, the service option would work.
The other way around and the share is not being mapped per the user profile and will not be seen by the service?

Is that close?

Right, exactly. All you have to do is change the mapped drive to the UNC path, then go into your Services list in Windows, go into the properties of the Getascii service, go under the Log On tab, and specify an account name and password that has administrative priveleges to the shared path.
