Hello,
From early this morning, some of our NEXTEL recipients are not getting the messages from PageGate. Some of them ARE getting, though.

I am using pecos.nextel.com for SNPP gate.

Does anyone know if there was a change on Nextel server?

Thank you.

There haven't been any recent changes that I've been made aware of. Are all of the recipients, both the ones that are and aren't receiving the messages, going through the same carrier/host in PageGate? If so, that's really strange and Nextel may be having an issue with their host. I don't know if it will make a difference or not but you can also try snpp.nextel.com as a host.

I tried all of the three hosts. But I had no luck.
I think that those phones with the issue are all Nextel Phones.

It sends out to Nextel Blackberries with Sprint with no problem.
Thank you.

Just out of curiosity, are the messages being rejected by the host or are they being accepted but never actually reaching the phone(s)?

The messages are rejected by the host. It says "Bad ID..."
It used to accept last week. And the users didn't change their carriers or phones..

This may sound a little odd but try using the Sprint SNPP host for the phones where the ID/PIN is being rejected. Create a new carrier and tell it use the same protocol (SNPP) with the host snpp.messaging.sprint.com and let us know if it accepts the message.

Sorry. I received "Invalid Pager ID" error, for "snpp.messaging.sprint.com", too.
Thank you.

It's definitely an issue with the host, then, and you'll need to contact them to let them know the host rejecting av alid cel number.

If you are SURE it is a NexTel device (iDEN - not CDMA) - try changing your carrier host to snpp.nextel.com
