Can't Send SMS

I'm trying to get my USB modem to send SMS messages and am getting the following errors.

What cellular network is your USB Cellular modem subscribed to?

Couple things:

1) in your logs, it shows

I assume you're replacing "Phone#" with only 10 digits and no symbols?

2) Check yout signal strength - through Hyperterminal, issue the following command : AT+CSQ <enter> and let us know the result

I had a very similar issue with a vodaphone USB modem here in the UK.

To get it to work I had to start up the vodaphone software and send a SMS using that first. When i did that it asked me if i wanted to allow the device to send SMS clicked yes to that and from then on notepager worked perfect.


So there might be a similar thing on yours.
