Hello. I need to send a text from a computer to multiple service carrier phones. What would be the most cost effective, good abilities for the future, and easiest to configure? I have tried netpager pro but can only get it to work for cricket service (which sends it as a pic message that has to be retrieved). Our phone system is digital, so I don't know if anything modem wise would work? Thanks for any help. Mark

Well, the best, most reliable way to send SMS messages from a computer is to use either NotePager Pro or PageGate (though, Pagegate is the better choice for this particular setup) in conjunction with a Cellular Modem. A Cellular Modem can be connected to a computer and allows a computer to send a text message just like a cel phone does. For more information on Cellular Modems, you may want to visit our reseller Streamline Solutions: http://www.streamline-solutions.net

Any Pagegat related questions, we can handle but when it comes to the hardware, we really recommend contacting either one of our resellers or the hardware vendor.

Besides Cricket, what other carriers are or will the the cell phones use?

NotePager Pro software is a good program to sending text messages from a computer to multiple wireless carriers. Messages can be sent using an internet connection, modem (TAP) or a GSM cellular modem.
