Verizon Wireless cell - No body in messages from GetMail

I have Pagegate version 4.0. Whenever an email is retrieved by GetMail for a Verizon Wireless carrier (using either TAP or SMTP), the Subject is the only text sent to the cell phone, the body of the message is missing. I tried sending an email/text message directly to phone#@vtext.com (i.e. not via Pagegate) and the message with subject and body was transmitted properly. When I send a message from within PgAdmin to a Recipient on Verizon Wireless, the text entered in both the "From" and "Message" boxes is transmitted fully to the phone. I use other carriers (AT&T, Nextel, Sprint) and they seem to be working fine. I'm not certain if it is a transmission problem or a problem with the GetMail module truncating the message before transmission. I have tried Rebuilding the Database but that did not solve the problem. Any ideas?

I'm not quite sure what would cause that, specifically, as we have other clients that are doing the same thing with no difficulty? My first recommendation would be to update to PageGate version 5 as we've made more than just a few changes to the GetMail module, some of which might take care of the problem you're having.

I will try this. I purchased the upgrade, but have not yet received the updated serial/registration number. I will install the upgrade as soon as I receive the info and will let you know if that resolves the problem.

I installed version 5 today (upgrade from v4).

The problem I was having with Verizon cell phones is now fixed.
