Some of our staff members have been receiving messages split onto 2 texts, even though the message is not over the max characters allowed. In other words, they receive 1/2 the message and then a minute later they receive the other 1/2. Can you tell me why this is happening or give me a list of all possibilities for me to investigate further? Thanks![/b]

Is this happening on all carriers or just one? THis is usually controlled by a combination of the carrier character limit and the recipient character limit. EXAMPLE: The carrier is set to 120 characters and the recipient is set to 240 - pagegate will send the message as 2 parts, each 120 characters long

Its happened with all carriers - bell, rogers, and telus. how do the associates check what their own recipient character limit is? cuz i know our notepager is set at 80 chars and some people have been getting split texts with messages under 80 chars.
