How does PageGate handle sending pages through a TAP connection? Say for instance if I have 2 different TAP number for metrocall and 1 for verizon can the program handle sending the page to multiple carriers? does it queue them up some how?

Easily. Let's assume you are only using 1 connecter. If you send the same message to 10 different recipients on 3 different carriers, the pageGate scheduler will group all messages for the same carrier together, establish the TAP connection, and send them. Once that "job" is complete, PageGate looks at the queue and sends the messages for the next carrier, and so on.
