I am looking to get PageGate installed on a server and would like to use a USB cellular modem to send out SMS pages. A lot of this stuff is outside my area of expertise. Can someone give me a recommendation on what to look for, or even a specific product that you have used?

The reason I'm thinking of using the cellular modem is because PageGate will be used on our network monitoring server, and I'm looking for a way to send out pages in the event of a catastrophic event where Internet and regular phone service is down.

I'd definitely go with OzCom's recommendations, especially where it concerns the GSM configurations.
