Software not sending out pages and continues to accept pages

Please take a look at this and see if you can siisit us with a problem we are having wityh our pagegate software. Ed Clark, Afton Comm.

The problem arose from not being able to send messages out. The incoming message gets accepted and sent internal to the software and just sits there. I am aware of the pagegate monitoring software but the problem is the same as listed here http://www.notepage.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7567844&highlight=snmp
If the message can not be sent out the monitoring software can't send out either. There should be snmp options to the program to monitor both incoming and outgoing sides of the program from a remote host.


There was a windows update I noticed. I don't know if that was the culprit or not.








Ed if you can find out this.


If i can send a email to pagegate can it be processed through the software and pagegate can then send it back through email? Will it use the same process route in the software as other messages on the back end.


If so I might be able to create a script to monitor it that way

Several things:

1) A copy of NotePager PRO can sit on a completely different PC on the network and alert if there is an issue with PageGate
2) Is it possible to obtain the connector logs? these will help troubleshoot why you are having issues
3) Are messages not attempting to go out or are they failing?
4) what version are you on and what PC and OS?
