Go into the PageGate Admin and go to the Program - Settings section. Check the Archive Directory setting and verify that the directory exists.
Also, go into the Logging - Settings section and make sure the Archive Log option is enabled.

What happens when you try to open the PageGate Admin?

This may sound a little strange but I'd like you to move the pagegate.mdb file out of the PageGate directory and run the PageGate Admin.
It should then prompt you for the program defaults, make sure that each of the directories are pointed to a directory that does, in fact, exist and click on Apply.
It'll tell you that a new database has been created, click on OK.
Run the Admin one more time just to make sure it comes up. If it does, close it and move the pagegate.mdb file back into the database directory, overwriting the existing copy.
Then run the admin and let's see if it opens.
