Okay - I have 6 connectors running ...and about halfway through my messages they all get clogged up with Verizon Messages ....The Server accepts the SMTP Connection and always rejects the first message but then sends it on the second try ....This is at a minimum 1-2 minutes per message. I have created verizon 1 and verizon 2 Carriers and assigned them to Connector 5 & 6 individually ..... The problem is when the other 4 connectors have dumped their messages (30 seconds) there is 30 Verizon messages in Que waiting for connector 5 & 6 ...... is there any way to assign a connector to Verizon 1, but also allow any open connector to also send Verizon 1 ? Is this a setting we could change ...or could you add this capability in a future upgrade ?

Also what are the optimal settings for the Connectors .....

Polling interval - 3
Dial Threshhold - 5
Retries - 3
Relay Interval -10

These are my current settings .....

Thanks for any information or thoughts.

Hi Jason,

Long time............coupel things:

Verizon has DRASTICALLY clamped down on SMTP to attempt to reduce SPAM. I'm seeing the delays all over the country. This may sound strange, but with Verizon, you'll find TAP faster (also bypasses the anti spam measures). Additionally, you can install a cellular modem and send the messages from PageGate to the recipient device as SMS (GSM-AT protocol). An advantage of this method is that you do NOT need to know the recipient's wireless carrier - only the 10 digit number. The disadvantage is that there will be MRC (Monthly Recurring CHarges) for the cellular modem account.
