PageGate 5 Client on Shared Computers

I have a situation where I installed PGC5 on 40 workstations in our surgical services area. Everyone is supposed to login with the ID of the station they are using, but many of them login with their own ID. I have the PGC icon in the All Users startup folder and I also have it in the All Users Desktop folder so they all have an icon and the program starts up at login, but every time a new user logs in on that particular computer they have to re-enter the 2 paths and the station ID field.

Is there a way to modify the "default" set of parameters for each machine so that it is set up no matter who logs in there?

Try this:

1. Log onto the machine as an administrator
2. Go to the client's settings screen ('File' -> 'Setup')
3. Check the box labeled 'use these settings for all local users'

That should force the client to read the database location settings from the HKEY_Local_Machine section of the registry, instead of from the HKEY_Current_User section (which is unique for each user)

Ahhhh.... So that button is for all users on that computer.... I was afraid it was for all users on the entire network and if I clicked on it the "station numbers" I have assigned to all the clients across the network would be changed.
