SMTP Error 530

We upgraded our PageGate to v5 two days ago. Since the upgrade we have been having problems sending some SMTP messages. Most go through fine but some have the following error in the SMTP Incoming Log.

Does anyone know what I need to do to correct this?

Hi Jennifer,

Looks like an issue with your internal relay server. Are you now connecting directly to the internet or are you still going via Frame Relay to HQ and then out?

Thanks for posting Aaron.

I think we might have it corrected. We found another post for turning on SMTP authentication in PageGate v4. So far so good.

I recently upgraded from 4.0 to 5.0.7 and I'm experiencing the same problem with SMTP 530 error msgs but with a few differences. Whenever a msg is sent with our domain or alias names our customers get the 530 error msg but if they use our IP address there is no problem.

I tried correcting the problem by setting the "SMTP_Auth" in the registry but that didn't make any difference.

Is this a DNS or a GetMail issue? Anyone have any thoughts on what might be going on and what I can do to fix this problem?
