importing recipients and groups from 3.7 to 4.0

I exported from 3.7 and imported recipients to 4.0
I said there were errors and there were.
it changed things around and made things rather funky
Is there a best practice method to do this?

Any help would be appreciated

We did change the database structure from version 3.7 to version 4 and from version 4 to version 5. There is, however, an auto-update routine for the database.

All you should need to do is take the version 3.7 database and drop it into the version 4 database directory. The next time you run the PageGate Admin, it will ask you to convert the database.
