Greeting - Im designing a new notificiation system and want to use Pagegate for my paging. We'll be using it as one leg in our emgency response and hazmat. Is there any way to have a secondary server to maximize uptime? - Thanks in advance

With Pagegate version 5, you can have a primary/master server and quite a few secondary/slave servers that pull their settings, infromation, and data from the primary server through synchronized databases. Is this what you're referring to or something slightly different?

Nope - that's exactly the answer I was looking for. Is there a special procudure to install or is it detailed in the general install docs? After design, I'll be giving it over to our SAs for installation.

There isn't anything particularly special you'll need to do to install multiple servers because the master/slave options are part of the configuration. Synchronizing databases and using multiple PageGate Servers is included in the product documentation but if you run into any trouble, let us know and we'll help however we can.
