I cannot get Verizon to work in smtp. Here is the dialer log. It says it is sent successfully, but nothing is received on the cell phone.

The first thing I'd recommend changing is the Local Domain. If you go to Carriers - Edit, highlight Verizon, and click on Edit, you should see the Local Domain field.
The Local Domain is NOT the domain you're sending to (that would be vtext.com). The Local Domain is the domain you're sending from.
Basically, during the connection sequence, Verizon's Mail server asks "Where is this message coming from?"
At that point, NotePager Pro responds with whatever you've entered in the Local Domain. The messages are being filtered because you're telling Verizon that it's sending itself a message. Verizon accepts the message, then promptly terminates it as spam.
Try entering the latter part of your email address in the Local Domain field and let's see if it works.
