Dear support team!
Please help with following situation:

I can not send sms via Nokia 3220 with Notepager Pro.

Sending to you log:

16.04.2007 14:52:32 Start connection to carrier: Azercell
16.04.2007 14:52:32 Connect using GSMAT protocol
16.04.2007 14:52:32 Setting communication parameters
16.04.2007 14:52:32 Attempting to reset modem
16.04.2007 14:52:39 Warning. Unable to access modem: Procedure: SendGSM. Retrying...
16.04.2007 14:52:44 Warning. Unable to access modem: Procedure: SendGSM. Retrying...
16.04.2007 14:52:51 Program Halted. modem error: 8020 Error reading comm device in Procedure: SendGSM
16.04.2007 14:52:56 Dialer Started

Notepager Pro could not find any modem when search.

Take note that GSM modem reply to AT commands from HyperTerminal and even send SMS with another paging software.

Do you know what COM port your phone has been assigned?

Generally, when NotePager Pro can't access a device, it's been given the wrong "Modem Port" to try to use.

Check the setting in Tools - Settings - Modem. Verify that the Modem Port matches the COM port assigned to the phone.

I know to witch port modem are assigned: COM4.

I have connected to the modem with HyperTerminal via this port.

And on the Tools - Settings - Modem same COM port are choosen:(
And no other software are using this port.

Please, HELP!

Have you installed the Nokia PC Suite yet? I've encountered the same issues you describe with several Nikia models and was able to corrrect them by downloading and installing the "Nokia Suite". Once the Suite is run, you must install the device as a modem. After it is installed, you can then tell NotePager to use that modem. When you send a message, the recipient will receive it as a phone to phone SMS saying it is from your phone
