Hoping you can help with a problem. We are using Notepager Pro with Bellsouth DSL. Most of the pages are via SMTP to various carriers. We send to 40-50 addresses. Ofter 5-15 pages a day. The system will page for a few days and then stop working for about half of the pages or all of them. If we reboot the DLS router and computer it will usually start working again for a few days. Any idea? We use this system for emergency pages in a rescue squad and not having the pages go out is a real issue. Thanks, Charley

Hmm... something like this can be caused by three or four different things, so let's start narrowing the list until we figure it out.

The first thing I'd like you to do is email all the npp.log file from your NotePager Pro directory to support at notepage dot com. In the email, be sure to include the last date and time the messages stopped going through so we have a date/time to reference in the log.

Hmm... quite strange. I searched through all of the mailboxes in the tech email (in, out, sent, sub-folders, etc) and didn't see any email from the email address you have listed in your forum profile.

If you would, please resend to support at notepage dot com and CC jeremy at notepage dot com

The email would have been from my work address, charley.carpenter@alcoa.com. I sent it at 8:40 EST on the 11th. I will also resend.

After reviewing the log file that you sent over, I noticed this line:

4/10/2007 9:14:12 PM Received:550 SMTP connection refused^^

Then I noticed that it was being caused by this line:

4/10/2007 9:16:34 PM Sent:Ehlo ^^

The Ehlo command is supposed to have your local (email) domain. In my case, it would be notepage.com and in your case it would be alcoa.com

Easiest solution would be to go to Carriers - Edit. Highlight your Email carrier and click on edit.

Type in alcoa.com in the Local Domain field and click on Apply.
