I have set everything up exactly as instructed and I still cannot get this program to work. I have read all the messages in the forums, tried everything and still nothing is working.

I have the domain as mobile.mycingular.com (have also tried .net)
I still get this message.
Working on message to: Tuli Cell from: 6440
Formatting message
Message contained in single packet
Looking up mailserver for mobile.mycingular.com
Trying host: mx.mycingular.net
Connected to : mx.mycingular.net
Disconnected
Message not accepted
Failed Attempt to : Tuli Cell Frm: 6440 Msg: Test
What is going on?

does this mean I can't use your Notepager pro? All the phones I have to send pages to are Cingulars?

Can you turn on connection debugging for NotePager Pro?
(directions here: http://www.notepage.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=532)
Once the detailed information is turned on, send a test message.
Then copy and paste that attempt in a post.
Please remember to obscure the recipient ID/Pin in the post and remove the message content.

You never establish an actual connection to the SMTP server.
You may need to modify your DNS Server 1 (in your Carrier Settings), as you may be receiving a bad server address for "mx.mycingular.net".
Try entering one of these public DNS server IP addresses for DNS Server 1.
199.166.28.10
199.166.29.3
199.166.31.3
199.5.157.128

It looks like you are still not connecting to the mail server. What happens if you try manually?
Open a command (also known as a 'DOS' or 'C') prompt on the machine and type (without the quotations!):
"telnet mx.mycingular.net 25"
You should receive this (or something similar):
"220 atlmta3.mycingular.net ESMTP Mail Server Ready"

I got-
could not open a connection to host on port 25
connection failed
I believe my ISP, Cox.net is blocking port 25. I don't have email set up on this computer. Any other way around it?

Check with Cox to see if they have a SMTP server available for you to relay messages through. If not, you can use TAP (via modem & telephone line) to deliver messages to Cingular.

Relayed through, smtp.cox.net
Thanks for your help!
