I am a volunteer member of a local RACES (Radio Amateur Civil Emergency Services) organization. In time of emergency, we need the capability of sending out pages to all of our volunteers instantly. Many use different providers, and some have alphanumeric pagers and some just numeric only. Could you please tell me what software would best suit my purposes?. We are a non-profit organization.

With NotePager Pro, stand-alone paging software, quickly send text messages using an easily manageable desktop application.

PageGate, network paging software, takes input from any of the following interfaces: Web (CGI), Email, Commandline/ASCII, Serial, TAP-In and GUI Client windows. Any number of network users share resources such as a common database, logs, Internet connection and phone line. Advanced capabilities are redundant outbound connections and message rerouting on failure.

NotePage, SMS software, sends text messages to cell phones, as well as alphanumeric and numeric pagers. Text messages can be sent via the Internet protocols: SNPP, WCTP, SMTP or modem protocols: TAP, GSM, UCP, TONE.

Features include group and on-call paging, paging multiple recipients with multiple carriers, schedule and pre-program messages, password management, logs and reports.
