NotePager Pro is not working !!!!!

It was working very well for the last 3 weeks, now it doesn't want to send the messages to almost every carrier, it is closing the conection and some of the messages are not being tried more than one time. I didn't changed anything... don't understand why is not working now.
I've been working succesfully with Sprint, Verizon, Centennial, Cingular, AT&T ( all in Puerto Rico ) .. The only one that still working is Sprint

Are you using SMTP to send messages to those Carriers?
You may be getting bad DNS MX record information when using SMTP.

Please check the following settings:

'Carriers' - 'Edit' - "CarrierName"

"Local Domain"
"DNS Server 1"
"DNS Server 2"

What do you have for those settings?


You should also turn on debugging in NotePager Pro.


1.) Create a text file in the folder "C:\Program Files\NotePager Pro".
2.) Rename the file to "modem.dbg".

When you change the file name and extension, Windows should warn you about making the file unusable.

3.) Select "Yes".

NotePager Pro will see the file (which acts as a flag) and will write detailed connection information to the file named "npp.log".

We recommend increasing the log size ('Tools' - 'Settings' - 'General' - 'Max Log Length') to accommodate the increase in information being written to your log.


You can Post a "snippit" from the end of the log. Please remember to "X" out any identifying numbers of Recipient SMTP addresses. Do not "X" out the domains.
