Error #94 Invalid use of Null in Procedure: edit_user Load. I get this when I replace the npp.mdb file with a new npp.mdb file, from an external Microsoft Access database, then Notepage terminates.
How can I prevent this, and get my "new" contact data uploaded into Notepage Pro?

What exactly are you doing to the database file? Are you making changes directly to the tables using MS Access? |

This seems to occur after I have uploaded a contacts file into NotePage Pro, and then tried to update or add members of groups from the NotePage Pro menus.

What type of "contacts file". Is this a file that you have created using Access, or is it an actual NotePager Pro "export" file that you are was created using the Export feature? |

This is a file I created using MS/Access, matched to the file format of the Notepage Pro "npp.mdb" file, and then wrote over the old "npp.mdb" file with the new one.

Unfortunately, creating your own database file is a procedure that we cannot support, although it looks like you have "NULL" values in the 'np_recipients' table.
The Recipient table contains the following fields (and the corresponding NotePager Pro setting);
"np_name" = "Recipient/Group Name" = (A/N) Short Name - **No spaces allowed**
"np_full_name" = "Recipient/Group Full Name" = (A/N) Display name which is shown in GUI
"np_id" = "ID/Pin" = (A/N) ID/Pin/email of recipient
"np_carrier" = "Carrier" = (A/N) Carrier Name (must exist in Database)
"np_maxchars" = "Max Chars" = (A/N) Maximum Number of characters allowed per message - Default "240"
"np_alpha" = "Alpha" = (T/F) Alpha/Numeric device - Default #TRUE#
"np_notify_only" = "Notify Only" = (T/F) Send only Notify Code - Default #FALSE#
"np_notify_code" = "notify_code" = (N) Notify Code - Default "999"
"np_on_call" = "On Call" = (T/F) Default #FALSE#
"np_reliapage" = "Reliapage" = (T/F) Default #FALSE#
"np_reliapage_index" = (N) Default "0"
"np_ad_hoc" = "ad_hoc" = (T/F) Default #FALSE#
"np_drop_control" = "Drop Non-Printable Characters" = (T/F) Default #TRUE#
"np_group" = (T/F) Default #FALSE#
"np_SendSubject" = "Send Subject" = (T/F)
"np_remove_from" = "Don't Send Sender's Name" = (T/F)
"np_extra1" = "Comment1" = (A/N)
"np_extra2" = "Comment2" = (A/N)
(A/N) = Alpha Numeric values
(T/F) = True / False values
The defaults are correct for Recipient records. Group records have slightly different default values.
Check for NULL values in the "np_extra1" or "np_extra2" fields. |
