How do I get monitor 5, which is discussed below. I would love to be able to receive pages through notepager when their is a problem with PageGate. I would even appreciate the ability for PageGate to page me with any error to a pager showing me which Recipient and the error. We are a 911 dispatch facility, so knowing when pages don't go out is highly important.

You can download it from http://www.notepage.net/support/PGMonitor.exe (caps count).
You should probably set it up on a different computer than PageGate, or it kind of defeats the purpose of monitoring another machine. If you are using PageGate's GetAscii interface, you simply can't run it on the same computer as PageGate.
To use it, simply copy the above file over an existing pgmonitor.exe file. |

I entered my IP under the logging settings in PageGate Admin. I am not running the monitor anywhere else. Yet, the monitor on my machine does not seem to be connecting. Everything is in red and none of the log windows show anything. Do you know what I am doing wrong?

The PG Monitor IP settings in PG Admin (under Program/Logging/Settings), is one of the few settings that must be done from the PG Admin running on the actual server. You can't use an additional PG Admin running from a workstation to set this.
Are you updating the setting from the actual server's PG Admin? |

I knew it would be something simple. It is working now.
Thanks!
