HP Systems Insight Manager and Pagegate

I have the following problem.
My telecom provider supports only the UCP Protocol.
I have setup pagegate correctly and can send and receive sms messages on my mobile.
HP Systems Insight Manager is using the TAP protocol which is not supported by my provider. What I tried is to use the getTAP module but this is only monitoring incoming calls. Is there a way to have SIM comunicate with pagegate and have pagegate handdle the communication to the smsc.

I don't know much about HP Insight manager, but is it possible to have it run a program when an alert is fired, instead of paging out with TAP?

Instead of having HP software attempt to communicate with PageGate via TAP - why not use the ASCII interface and have PageGate watch the file to create page jobs?
