Hi, we use ISS's Air Messenger Pro, and, hoping you are familiar with it, perhaps you could advise as to whether there are additional features or advantages to using your software? I'm always game for an upgrade! We use AMP on 3 PCs in a hospital switchboard/police dispatch setting. Each PC uses the software in standalone format.
WinXP Pro and/or WinNT on our PCs. 380+ pagers/cell phones online and growing fast! Multiple medical paging groups. We use SNPP, TAP, and SMTP in that order depending on network status; automatically selects backup format as needed.
Would we gain anything by changing?
Thanks!

One key thing I noticed in your post:
"Each PC uses the software in standalone format"
With your current system, if you add a new recipietn or make a change to a recipient or group, you need to make that change on each machine individually. With PageGate, all users (dispatchers/operators/workstations) access a common database where you will make your administrative changes. Using a common interface will also make reporting/troubleshooting MUCH EASIER!
Feel free to contact me directly if I can be of any assistance
