I have had very little problems with note pager pro. Now I bought a new laptop and when I try to send messages to my paging group it will reject 9 of them out of like 42. Everything else goes out except for the ones that require SMTP. I am running Windows XP Home edition and also running norton antivirus 2004 pro.. I have disabled the outgoing email scan thinking it would be the problem.. Any ideas?

What happens if you run the Internet Connect Wizard?
('Tools' - 'Wizards' - 'Connection' - 'Internet')

What are the results?

SMTP - Pass/Fail ?
SNPP - Pass/Fail ?
WCTP - Pass/Fail ?

Do all of the "SMTP" Recipients use the same Cell phone carrier or do they have different companies?

What do you have in the "Sender's Name" under
'Tools' - 'Settings' - 'General' ?
The "Sender's Name" cannot contain any spaces. It can contain upper/lowercase letters, numerals, periods, hyphens and underscores.

You have a Carrier that uses SMTP as the protocol.

In that Carrier's settings, do you have a "Local Domain" that looks something like "xyz.com" or "abc.net"?

Also, ensure "Deliver Directly to Destination Server" is selected.

Make sure there is at least one DNS Server IP address listed. This does not include "0.0.0.0", as this is not a valid IP address.
