getmail never forwarded my messages

I tried using getmail and ypops to get my yahoo messages forwarded to my gmail account. I was following the instructions on this article called "how to migrate from yahoo to gmail" to the best of my ability. http://e-eeasy.com/MigrateYahooToGmail.aspx. Well, the getmail program would run (if i did anything else, the program window would be white, like it crashed) and on the system tray it says the number of messages handled. But I don't get them on my gmail account. Is this just an error and they didn't send, or did they go somewhere else? Please help.

I'm afraid you have the wrong forum. PageGate does have a module called the GetMail module but it's completely different than the program "GetMail for Hotmail" referenced in the link that you posted.
