Jaime,
Generally when this happens, there's a 'hiccup' of sorts on the messages table of the NotePager Pro database. The easiest way to fix it would be to do this:
1) Make sure you aren't running NotePager Pro.
2) Browse to the c:\program files\notepager pro\ directory.
3) Open the npp.mdb file in Access.
4) Go into the messages table.
5) On your keyboard, hit Ctrl+A
6) Hit the delete key.
7) Tell it yes.
8) Go to Tools - Database Utilities - Compact and Repair.
9) Close Access and reopen the program.
If you don't have Access installed, please email your database to support at notpage dot com

Jaime - Is it 4 identical copies of the same message or is it 1 message broken into 4 parts?
also - is the device in question receiving the messages as a member of multiple groups?
(EXAMPLE: recipient is a member of 4 different groups - text message is sent to 4 groups - device will receive 4 copies)_________________ Aaron D. Osgood

Hmm... it's possible it could be a variable that's stuck in the program but usually, rebooting will fix the problem. Try this:
1) Browse to your c:\program files\notepager pro\ directory.
2) Make a backup copy of the npp.mdb file on the desktop.
3) Close the file browse.
4) Go to Start - Control Panel.
5) Go to Add/Remove programs.
6) Highlight NotePager Pro and click on Remove.
7) When prompted, you want to do the Automatic uninstall and you do want to remove the shared files.
8) Reboot the system.
9) Browse to our website: http://www.notepage.net
10) Click on the Download button under the NotePager Pro section in the center of the page.
11) When prompted, select Run (instead of Save).
12) You shouldn't need to change anything during the install, so just click on Next until the installation is complete.
13) Now that you have the latest build of the program installed, take that copy of the npp.mdb file you made on your desktop and copy it back into the c:\program files\notepager pro\ directory.
14) If prompted, you do want to overwrite the existing copy.
Let us know if you're still having the problem after doing this.

Jaime,
Ah, wait. If you're getting one message that's split across for received SMS issues, this is completely different than what I thought it was. I thought you were receiving 4 identical SMS messages when you only sent one message from the program.
What you'll want to do is increase the number of characters for the Carrier (by going to Carriers - Edit, highlight your carrier, click on Edit. Update the Max Chars to a higher value than what you have set now).
Let's say that you have the Max Chars for the carrier set to 100 and you have the Max Chars for the Recipient set to 400. If the recipient receives a 300 character message, our program will automatically break the 300 character message into 3 one hundred character messages because you've told it that the carrier can only handle 100 characters at a time.

is there a way to have our IT take off the privacy at the end to the email? At times we get it at other times we do not and they didnt change anything on their end. It isn't going through our email server?? Thanks for all your help.

The trouble with that is that NotePager Pro only sends what you type into the message field. If you're not typing in the privacy statement to the end of your messages, it's being tacked on by your mail server or network and you would need to contact your IT department about having that removed.
