Looking at dialer logs shows 12/18/2006 10:53:01 AM Sent:AT<CR>
12/18/2006 10:53:06 AM Attempting to hang up modem
12/18/2006 10:53:09 AM Sent:AT<CR>
12/18/2006 10:53:14 AM Attempting to hang up modem
12/18/2006 10:53:18 AM Sent:AT<CR>
12/18/2006 10:53:23 AM Carrier retry limit reached. Marking pending messages as bad
12/18/2006 10:53:23 AM FAILED Stn:0 To:dbell Frm:hfghfg Msg:dghgh
12/18/2006 10:53:23 AM FAILED Stn:0 To:lamberty Frm:hfghfg Msg:dghgh
12/18/2006 10:53:23 AM FAILED Stn:0 To:dbell Frm:dfds Msg:adf
does the failed show me anything

Based on the dialer log, it looks like the program is unable to hang up the modem.

If you look earlier in the log, when it says "Start connection Carrier", does it mention that it can't access the modem or does it send the AT command and dial the carrier?
