I would like to set up failover at the carrier level. We are going to be using a point-to-point analog line to send pages to our carrier. If that should fail for some reason, we would like to use just a regular modem and phone line as a back up route to that same carrier. How do you go about setting this up?
Thanks,
Will

You will need to use a second dialer. You may have to purchase it if you don't already own a second one ($100).

Create another carrier entry for the same carrier (use a slightly different name), but setup to use TAP. Set the original carrier's failover field to the new carrier entry.

That should be all there is to it.
