Hi. Im new to your product (NotePager Pro), but so far have found it to be a great tool.
My question is this. I have Kiwi Syslog running as a service, and a trigger setup to PAGE my through your software when this alert is triggered.
The problem is Kiwi will only send me pages if the program is running, or minmized in the taskbar.
If an alert is sent to Kiwi, and Notepager is not running. Once it is started will begin to send the alerts (they ARE being queued).
Is this a problem with Kiwi not calling your application correctly? Or a limitation of your software? Thanks very much for the great product.

NotePager Pro does have to be running in order to deliver the messages. It may make sense for you to have NotePager Pro automatically start when the computer starts (you may have to have the computer automatically log itself in for this to work).
The problem you are experiencing may be because a program running as a service can't start a regular program unless a user session (somebody is logged in) is active. To be honest, I'm not sure if Kiwi trys to start NotePager Pro or not. However, either way it wouldn't be able to if someone wasn't already logged in.
I will try to see if our PageGate product (which will run as a service also) will work with Kiwi Syslog too. I'm pretty sure it will, but I will confirm this.

Thanks very much.
The thing is, Kiwi can run as a service which is great. Now with the integration with NotePage i would like to use it in the same compasity.
At this point it is not very practicl, to ask to keep a computer logged in all the time to be able to send pages.
I know PageMaster with integration into HP Openview does this fine.
I looked at the PageGate product and it seems way too much for what i want it to do.
In a Nutshell, i want Kiwi just to call your program to page on certain events, when running as a service. It seems that it does not do this.
Thanks.
