I'm currently searching for a simple system such as the former Alfie Jr. and Air Source programs. Notepage looks like a great system but will NotePage 32 allow me to plug my non-internet laptop into a hotel phone plug and send pages? Also will the Notepage pro work with my cable modem since it looks like the Notepage 32 won't?

NotePager 32 will only deliver modems via a regular modem and phone line. NotePager Pro will do this, but it can also deliver messages via the Internet (cable modem, dsl, etc.).

NotePager Pro pretty much supports all ways to send to carriers. However you should check with the carrier you will be using to see what protocols they support on their end.
