Hi. We use notepager 32 & pro. All pc's are on windows xp. The 32: errors are the '91' and the program won't open. Those that do open are not sending emails promptly, sometimes they don't go at all and sometimes they don't go until the next day.
The pro: problems include errors '94' and engine not running and also not sending or not going out when initially sent.
Please advise, we are a doctor's office and this is creatig havoc. Thanks

It sounds like the databases are corrupt.
You may want NotePager Pro and NotePager 32 to create new blank (empty) databases. You can then re-anter your Carrier and Recipient settings.
To rename the existing database
For NotePager Pro:
Open windows explorer
Go to "C:\Program Files\NotePager Pro"
Rename the file "npp.mdb" to "npp.mdb.old"
For NotePager 32:
Open windows explorer
Go to "C:\Program Files\NotePager 32"
Rename the file "npdb.mdb" to "npdb.mdb.old"
After renaming the database, start NotePager Pro/NotePager 32. A new empty database will be created. You can then re-enter your information.

I did all that you suggested and started completely over including re-entering all the data and it still says engine not running?

It sounds like more than just the database file may have become corrupt. You may want to try running a utility like scandisk to be sure there isn't corruption on your hard drive. After that, try re-installing the NotePager Pro software. It will install right on top of what you have, and should retain all your settings.

I reloaded notepager pro and I got it to page and go through one time and now the next five times have been a "failure"; didn't go through. I am getting very frustrated. Any suggestions?

Can you send us the old copies of your databases. You would have renamed them to npp.mdb.old and/or npdb.mdb.old. We can try to get your old modem settings out of those files. I think your current problem is that you aren't using a good enough init string for your modem. I would like to have you try the old one that was working for you.
Email the files to forumsupport@notepage.com
