TAP won't start

The Tap interface service won't start?
I want to email to our SMS-gateway whenever I receive a call through modem that holds the string "STOK <cr> 11" Am I correct for using TAP?
I am new at using this kind of software so hope someone can help me out on this.

The GetTAP interface won't work for this. The TAP protocol is a very specific series of commands. "STOK..." won't mean anything to this interface.

However, you can probably get it to work with the GetSerial interface. Use ATS0=1 for an init string (this will force the modem to answer when it rings). Then you could probably have it look for that pattern and initiate a message.
