Hi,

I'm wondering if there's any way we can limit the outgoing messages per minute ? It seems that we are sending out too many messages to one specific host in a too small amount of time.

With Fido, when sending messages via SMTP, after a specific amount of time (not sure the exact amount of time), if we've been re-connecting too fast to their mail server between 2 messages, we get blacklisted.

That's for sure, I got confirmation from Fido about it, its one of their new antispam system, but that's not really cool when we get a peak on our side. From what I heard there would be a limit of connection in a range of 60 seconds.

I was hoping if we could limit the amount of messages out going per 5 seconds for example. I would probably put something like 1 message per 5 seconds, that sounds okay. But I'm still waiting for their confirmation.

Currently, we don't have a way in the program to do what you want to do for internet based carriers but I have a developer looking into a solution due to the fact that this is becoming more and more common. When a solution is available, I'll be sure to post and let you know.
