We are currently running PageGate v4.0 on a Win98 box and are experiencing the following error every couple of days.

PGRESTART caused an invalid page fault in module KERNEL32.DLL at 015f:bff7dadd.

I have already moved PageGate from one Win98 box to another but the problem still occurs. This PC has all of the latest patches and upgrades for 98 but still the original install of PageGate. Is this a problem with Win98? Would upgrading to Win2000/XP possibly solve the problem or are there any patches for PageGate 4.0 that I can apply first. Thanks.

I don't have any record of this error, so I think the first step is to install the latest PageGate files. To do this:

1. Backup your current PageGate program and data.
2. Download the latest evaluation version from our website.
3. If you are running PageGate as a service, then switch it back to run as an application (while PageGate is still running).
4. Stop all your PageGate related programs
5. Run the new installation program (all you settings, registration, and data will be retained).
6. Restart PageGate
