My get ASCII files have a lot of empty space at the end. Is there a way to set the Dynamic Message End Pattern to something like 5 SPACE characters, instead of End of Record Symbol which it is currently set to?

Sure. For your end pattern, use: \032\032\032\032\032 which would be five spaces (character code 32 is a space).

That did cross my mind, but I wasn't sure multiple ASCII codes would work.
