We currently use PageGate Version 4.0 to text page our police officers. Our primary communications means is the internet using SNPP. However, when the SNPP connection goes down our officers cannot receive messages. Does PageGate have a FailOver whereby if one service is out it automatically tries another i.e. land-line dialer? What is the Failover function in the Recipient Settings?

Sure, all you have to do is have a modem in your computer and create a TAP carrier in the PageGate Admin. After that, go into the settings of your existing carrier and set the failover to the TAP carrier you've just created.
