Two things.

First, go into the PageGate directory and go into the properties of the pagegate.exe file, then let me know what it says under the Version tab.

Two, the only time you'll really get that error is when you have a NULL value in one of the fields in the database. Generally, a null value is either manually input by mistake or there's a crosslinked entry in the database regarding that recipient.

My personal recommendation would be to delete that recipient and recreate them, then see if you get the error. If you still get the error, let us know.

Thx for the quick reply. And actually we've made alittle head way on this. First things.....i ham running version 4.0.0.8 /// i know its old i guess but it works until we started trying to do this. But anyhow, we've made progress since i posted this message. If we send mail without the subject we get the error about the null filed. If we send the subject our pager recieves the message, but i havent gotten the body to appear ?? But we dont get the null error and crash out Page gate until that pending message is cancelled.

THX

This is actually an issue we've had with the GetMail module in builds previous to 4.0.0.9 - All you really need to do to get it to work the way it should is update your version of PageGate to version 4.0.0.96 - Here's the best way to do it:

1) Make a backup of the pagegate.mdb database.
2) After you've made the backup, download the latest installation file for PageGate from our website. (http://www.notepage.net click on the Download Now loink under the PageGate section).
3) In the PageGate Admin, switch PageGate to run from a Windows Service to Application.
4) Manually stop all of the PageGate System services, close the Admin program, Monitor, and any GUI clients connected to the system.
4) Run the installation file, overwriting any files it prompts you to.
5) Once the installation is complete, reboot the system.
6) When the system comes back up, open the Pagegate Admin.
7) Switch the program to run from Application to System Service.
