Is anyone aware of a different way to get a page to a SprintPCS phone, other then:
10digitphonenumber@messaging.sprintpcs.com
I have a user who has the Sprint PPC-6700 phone, who uses a form to send pages to our system. He is not getting any page back from our PageGate system, even though it's sending to him at the above email address._________________ Mike Linthicum

You could try TAP (modem# 888-656-1727 Settings: 7 E 1) and use the phone's 10 digit number as the ID
To troubleshoot SMTP delivery - can you send a message to his phone's email from your Outlook (or whatever email package you use)?_________________ Aaron D. Osgood

We don't use TAP at all. And we've tried everything else to make sure there isn't a problem with his account in our system. I can send directly to him, from PageGate, without any problems, I can send to him from my phone, without any problems, and from Outlook Express, without any problems.
I starting to believe, that if HE send to our system, his phone is blocking the return. Almost as if he has something set to NOT receive a response to him own page._________________ Mike Linthicum

Just so I understand - the user in the field with the Sprint phone is sending messages to your PageGate which then transmits the messages to a group or groups? If so - are you using the getMAIL module? Or, is he using his sprintPCS data package and interfacing with your PageGate via a browser and the getWEB module?_________________ Aaron D. Osgood

We have a form our dispatchers use to send out pages. He is accessing the form from his phone. When he submits the form, it sends the data to our POP3 account. PageGate takes that and resends the page to the proper group.
Now! The form has a FROM address, different from his phone, but I don't know if his phone address is buried within the data somewhere. That's what was making me think that he's not getting what he's sending out._________________ Mike Linthicum
